New Lovejoy, Inc.® Employees Add Fresh Perspective

Lovejoy, Inc. hires new design engineer and torsional coupling sales manager

Downers Grove, IL - November 26, 2006 - Michael Hennessy, CEO of Lovejoy, Inc., the country’s premier established manufacturer and designer of flexible industrial couplings, and the world’s leader in flexible coupling knowledge, welcomes a new design engineer and a new torsional coupling sales manager. Both of these new employees bring a wealth of experience and product insight to Lovejoy.

Nathan Linsley  New design engineer Nathan Linsley center of attention is the design of disc and gear couplings. Before moving to Lovejoy in July, Linsley was a mechanical engineer at Woodward Governor Company in Rockford, Ill., which manufactures aircraft engine system parts. He received his engineering degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

"Since I come from a different mechanical industry, I can bring a fresh perspective to both design and manufacture," Linsley said. "We are working on making our products even easier for our customers to use."

Much of what Linsley is working on is custom designs. And in fact, custom engineering solutions that give companies a competitive edge are one of the backbones of Lovejoy’s success.

Dan Muren  Dan Muren is an outstanding salesperson who came to Lovejoy with many industry connections. As the new torsional coupling sales manager, his leading challenge is finding the best contacts within large OEMs in the off-road, construction, and agriculture industries.

"It’s all a matter of finding the right person to speak with, so I’m doing a lot of networking right now," he said. "Since I’m a salesperson at heart, I like the problem-solving aspect of this job – showing companies how Lovejoy products can provide solutions."

Muren came to Lovejoy in July from Bergstrom, Inc. in Joliet, Ill. Bergstrom manufactures AC systems and is a contract assembler for the off-road truck market. He earned his degree in industrial engineering from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill.

"Once I determine who the main contacts are, the goal is to get on their shortlist," he said. "Lovejoy torsional products are the best in the industry; that makes my job much easier."
